Church Directory,
New Photo Album

Throughout the summer months we're

going to be working hard to bring our Church

Directory up to date so that we can have a

brand new one published and ready for

distribution in September. (Our last one was

released back in 2004, so we're ready for a

new one!) But we're going to need your help

and consideration. On the welcome table in the

entrance hallway are forms asking you about

your name and phone number, home and e-mail

addresses, birthdays and anniversaries; if you

consider yourself a member of the church and

haven't done so already, would you please

complete one of the forms for your household

and pass it off to Pastor Jeff? That way,

we'll be sure to include all the important

information about you in our upcoming

directory. Also, we're still trying to put

together an ongoing photo album of our church

family. So if you haven't had your picture

taken by Melissa Cavallini, would you please

either arrange to do so or turn in a

photograph that we could scan? This photo

album, with names printed under the pictures,

will be placed in the entrance hallway so that

it's always available at the church for your

perusal.

Worship Service DVDs

Thanks to the videotaping by our own Shawn

Olson, DVD recordings of the Sunday morning

Worship Services of the Church at Dyers Creek

are now being made available upon request.

We're hoping that these DVDs will help those

who've had to miss some of our services due to

extended illnesses feel a little less removed

from the rest of their church family! So if

you'd like a DVD of one of our Worship

Services, please let Shawn or Pastor Jeff

know, and we'll get it to you as soon as

possible. (And just maybe sometime in the

future, you'll be able to download

pod casts

of our Worship Services from this very

website!)

Family Game Night

There's basketball and dodge-ball; there's

board games and ping-pong; there's devotion

and chit-chat; and for the summer months

there's even horseshoes and playground

activities! We all need exercise, so why don't

you join us on the last Friday night of each

month to exercise your body and mind and

emotions and soul during our Family Game Night—

all in (and around) the Life Enhancement

Center.

To us, studying the Bible is vital because it not only instructs us intellectually, but

For every person at every age level Dyers Creek offers a wealth of opportunities-
special programs and ministries for children, youth, and adults that fill our church

Just as Jesus Christ came "not to be ministered unto, but to minister," we accept our
responsibility to reach out in service to others. This applies both within the church
family and outside our fellowship.

The primary reason we meet together is to focus our attention on God, giving Him our
worship and receiving His blessing and inspiration. Each of these occasions is a special
time of spiritual refreshment.

Here with the church at Dyers Creek, we are joined together in a wonderful fellowship.
